Well, Michel Gondry doesn't like them...

Discovery Channel is full of really ***** American documentaries with more drama than fact and about ***** nobody cares about (like American Chopper, a reality bunch of "manly men" quite obviously trying to hard, and making bike after bike after bike after bike after bike after bike and on ad infinitum). The only TV network on the planet that makes interesting documentaries is the BBC with Horizon and the various Wildlife Documentaries. The only exception to this is Meerkat Manor which is brilliant but still a reality show in the same vein as American Chopper.
