Bartlett Arboretum

The Bartlett Arboretum, in Belle Plaine, Kansas, was started in 1910 by Dr. Walter Bartlett. The fifteen acre site is home to garden after garden, grand specimen trees, both native and exotic, an outdoor performance stage, and the restored Oxford, Kansas train depot. The Kansas Forest Service lists seven Bartlett trees as "Champion Trees of Kansas." Since 1997, the Arboretum's steward is Robin Macy,
